Lounge Tip #2: Take 10 minutes today to treat your feet!

A 10 minute foot soak provides healing benefits for the whole body, by soothing tired swollen feet and increasing the body’s circulation. You can make your own foot soak at home store it in an airtight container and use when needed.

Homemade foot soak Recipe 1:

1 part Epsom Salt

1 part Baking soda

a few drops of your favorite essential oil (lavender, jasmine, peppermint, lemon, orange, mint)

*Use 2-3 tbs per gallon of warm water. If your feet are swollen then use cool water.

Recipe 2:

1 c lemon juice

3 tbs olive oil

1/4 c milk

*Mix well then add to 1 gallon of water and soak feet.

To really treat your feet add a few flower petals to your soak for extra luxuriousness. 🙂

Homemade Sugar Scrub:

1 clear plastic jar

1 c sugar

1/2 c grapeseed oil or olive oil

few drops of essential oil

Mix all together and enjoy!

*Once you put the kids down, take some time to your self and try our recommended momtea or momtini*

Momtea-tini

1 3/4 oz. vodka

1 oz sweet iced tea

1/4 oz. lemon juice

lemon wedge for garnish

Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes. Shake well and strain into a sugar rimmed glass. Yum! To make this a Momtea just replace the vodka with sparkling water to make this drink nice and refreshing. Enjoy!
